Who We Are Looking For: We are currently seeking
experienced
designers for leather and non-leather handbags to work at our
New York City
office. Please send your resume & portfolio of work to Richard Carroll upon application to be considered for this position. Please also advise your salary requirement. Responsibilities: Design seasonal collections of handbags and small leather goods for a large well known apparel brand. Select materials and trims, and create full tech packs to send to factories Follow up on samples Review proto samples with Director, send comments to factories and request revised samples Attend key creative and sales meetings Requirements (please do not apply unless you meet the following) ·
5 or more years of handbag design experience , either in leather and/or PU ·
Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop ·
Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment ·
Excellent communication skills and able to work as a part of team ·
Must be detail-oriented, and extremely organized xywuqvp ·
