Senior Consumer Product Manager – Debit Card

to drive the strategic direction of one of our most critical consumer and small business products. This is a highly visible, strategy-forward role responsible for driving engagement, usage, and profitability across a large debit card portfolio, while shaping the future of how our clients pay, spend, and interact with their bank every day.

Job Description The Senior Consumer Product Manager – Debit Card holds primary responsibility for the long-term performance, growth strategy, and roadmap of BOKF’s debit card portfolio across consumer and small business segments. This role leads portfolio strategy focused on acquisition, activation, usage, and retention, translating customer needs, market dynamics, and network capabilities into actionable initiatives that drive measurable revenue and engagement.

This position partners closely with marketing, product operations, technology, compliance, vendors, and frontline teams to deliver strong product outcomes while ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and an exceptional customer experience. The role operates with significant autonomy, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders.

How You'll Spend Your Time

Drive expansion of a large debit card portfolio

by developing and executing strategies that increase card usage, customer engagement, and interchange revenue across consumer and small business segments.

Govern and advance the long-term debit card product roadmap , balancing growth opportunities, customer experience enhancements, risk management, and operational considerations.

Establish, monitor, and report on portfolio KPIs , providing monthly performance insights, dashboards, and recommendations to peers and leadership—identifying gaps and driving corrective action.

Lead cross-functional collaboration

with marketing, product operations, technology, compliance, and frontline teams to prioritize and execute initiatives that improve usage, returns, and customer outcomes.

Develop and launch debit card initiatives and innovations , including new product concepts, co-branded programs, and feature enhancements; partner with marketing on go-to-market strategy and education.

Partner with product operations

to ensure smooth execution, issue resolution, and continuous improvement once strategies move into delivery.

Manage and support vendor relationships and contract negotiations , optimizing cost structures while ensuring strategic value, scalability, and performance.

Ensure regulatory and network compliance , including monitoring and communicating changes related to Reg E, PCI-DSS, network rules, and other debit-related requirements.

Leverage data and analytics

(including SQL and dashboard tools) to perform deep portfolio analysis, evaluate trends, and support strategic decision-making.

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.

Product management experience with demonstrated ownership of product strategy, roadmaps, and performance.

Debit card experience in consumer and/or small business banking, payments, fintech, or card networks required.

Experience managing or supporting card portfolios, payments products, or transaction-based revenue models.

Strong analytical background, including advanced Excel skills; working knowledge of SQL or ability to quickly develop SQL proficiency.

Experience collaborating cross-functionally in complex, regulated environments such as banking or fintech.

Prior retail banking or payments industry experience preferred.
