Life.Church is seeking a visionary and technically proficient 3D Animator to join our Central Creative Media team in Edmond, OK. As an Animator, you will be the engine behind the motion graphics that define our weekend experiences, digital campaigns, and ministry initiatives. Your daily workflow will involve a mix of high-level conceptualization and technical execution. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of motion projects, from the first “big idea” to the final render.
1. Conceptualization & Storyboarding Narrative Development: Review project management assignments to understand the “why” behind every request.
Visual Mapping: Develop detailed storyboards and style frames that align with the creative direction of Central and campus teams.
Prototyping: Create rough animatics to test timing and flow before moving into high-fidelity production.
2. Technical Animation & Production Motion Graphics: Utilize Adobe After Effects to create sophisticated 2D graphics, typography, and UI elements.
3D Modeling & Animation: Leverage Cinema 4D to build environmental assets and abstract 3D motion that enhances the “Weekend Experience” on large-scale LED walls.
Asset Management: Organize and maintain a clean library of project files, ensuring ease of collaboration with other editors and designers.
3. Collaborative Ministry Support Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with the Weekend Experience team to ensure graphics complement live lighting and stage designs.
Brand Alignment: Maintain visual consistency across various ministry sub-brands (LifeKids, Switch, etc.) while identifying new techniques to keep the aesthetic fresh.
Vision Casting: Provide leadership and guidance to junior designers or interns, fostering an environment of growth and creative excellence.
