Proof Publicity is seeking an experienced Social Media Strategist / Manager to lead social media strategy and execution across multiple client accounts. This role is focused on optimization and growth, not just content output. You will own social media performance for 5–7 brands at a time, including Proof’s own channels, developing and executing strategies that drive reach, engagement, and follower growth across key platforms. Location: Phoenix, Arizona (Remote) Reports to: Senior PR Manager/CEO What You’ll Do Own social media strategy and execution for 5–7 client accounts across varied industries Develop platform-specific strategies for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok Create and continuously adapt content calendars based on performance, trends, and growth goals Plan, direct, capture, edit, and optimize short-form video content designed to drive discovery and engagement Write clear, compelling, on-brand captions and copy tailored to each platform Identify, test, and apply social media trends that support account growth (not trend chasing for its own sake) Manage scheduling, publishing, and reporting using Sprout Social Design social graphics, covers, and supporting assets using Canva Collaborate with the PR team to align social content with earned media, launches, and campaigns Analyze performance, share insights, and adjust strategy to improve results What Success Looks Like Consistent month-over-month growth in reach, engagement, and followers Repeatable content formats and themes that clearly outperform others Video content that drives discovery beyond existing audiences Strategic recommendations backed by data, testing, and results Required Experience & Skills Minimum of 3 years of proven social media management experience Demonstrated success growing social media accounts with clear, measurable results Experience managing social media for brands across different industries Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok algorithms and best practices Comfortable managing and editing video content for social platforms Excellent writing skills for social captions and short-form content Deep interest in staying ahead of platform changes, trends, and algorithm updates Highly organized and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously Proficiency in Sprout Social and Canva Bonus (Nice to Have) Experience with paid social, boosting, or amplification strategies Familiarity with additional platforms such as Pinterest, Reddit, or X Agency experience managing multiple client brands at once How to Apply Please include 2–3 examples of social media accounts you’ve managed , including: Platform(s) Starting vs. current follower count and other key growth stats like engagement, link clicks, etc. Timeframe Overview of client/campaign and challenges What strategies or content drove the growth What role you played in the success of the campaign Applications without growth examples will not be considered.
