Technical Editor, Senior The key to an organization’s growth is strong stakeholder communication that represents and supports its mission, values, and objectives. As a technical editing professional, you know how to inform and engage key audiences and help promote an organization’s reputation. We’re looking for an experienced communications specialist who is ready to share your knowledge and win for the client and live our mission every day. You’ll use your skills and experience to design, develop, produce and advise on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that supports the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC). As a Technical Editor on our team, you’ll develop creative solutions to complex problems, shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to deliver high‑quality intelligence products in support of our client. You’ll oversee and author various intelligence products and content, guiding the client to inform key audiences through products using various tools. Work with us to develop, clarify, and verify technical information in support of the DoD or IC.
Qualifications Experience writing and editing professional products for multiple audiences.
Knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and style guides.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet often tight deadlines.
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
HS diploma or GED and 12+ years of experience with technical editing in a DoD or IC environment, or Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience with technical editing in a DoD or IC environment.
Nice If You Have Experience in an Intelligence Analyst or support role.
Experience supporting senior leaders.
Knowledge of DoD or IC systems and processes.
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
