
IT Technical Writer

Overview
This person shall develop, write, and edit materials for reports, manuals, briefs, technical specifications, instruction books, catalogues, and related technical and administrative publications concerning work methods and procedures, including Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Wiki, GitLab, Technical Writing, and UI text.
Requirements
Experience
Ability to multi-task, prioritize staff requests, and set expectations.
Meticulous attention to detail and effective professional correspondence.
Self-sufficient and resourceful, able to work independently and take ownership of the project.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Solid understanding of IT concepts, ability to translate into technical software documentation.
Education
AA/AS from an accredited college or university.
Or substitute with 3+ years experience.
Certifications
Require any of the following IAT Level I (A+ CE, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP, CCNA Security) and CE/OS Certification.
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. The ability to move files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary would be required.
