
Credit Card Product & Marketing Strategist

The Credit Card Product & Marketing Specialist position is an essential role that coordinates and manages all marketing objectives for credit cards. This role works with the Credit Card Department to build and execute strategies that grow the credit card portfolio, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet MidFirst quality standards. Responsibilities include creating and managing initiatives for acquisition, usage, and retention to exceed line‑of‑business goals.
This position reports to the Credit Card Program Manager and collaborates with all Marketing department members and key groups such as sponsorship, legal, compliance, and product management.
Job Objectives
Planning and Strategy
Create roadmaps and plans to grow the credit card portfolio and penetrate multiple customer segments.
Communicate card benefits and increase usage of rewards, especially the rewards program.
Develop card activation, usage, and retention programs.
Set specific goals for initiatives and track performance to communicate results.
Affinity Card Strategy – work with Sponsorship, Program Management, and Marketing to build and implement full‑scale strategies.
Identify unique opportunities to grow the program and engage the customer base.
Project Management
Create and manage marketing project timelines for designated areas of responsibility.
Ensure all project elements are submitted, completed on time, and meet quality standards.
Coordinate routine updates for Credit Card website pages, including quarterly updates and prime rate changes.
Campaign / Promotion Management
Coordinate all elements of campaigns, promotions, and sales support to ensure consistency and timeliness.
Create and maintain processes and spreadsheets for campaign planning.
Track and report promotion and campaign results; data analysis skills desired.
Sales Support Management – provide strategic planning and marketing expertise to lines of business.
Collateral and Website Review – review project collateral for accuracy, consistency, and clarity; guide sales support materials and direct marketing.
Marketing Planning – guide the marketing planning process for lines of business.
Additional responsibilities and events as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree.
Highly organized, self‑motivated, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
Contribute to team structure and manage multi‑task large project volumes.
Excellent writing and communication skills with high attention to detail.
Calm under stressful and pressure situations; quick and thorough strategic thinker.
Ability to lead business line brainstorming sessions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite – Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
