About the Team

The Global Digital Commerce organization at Mammoth Brands is responsible for shaping the vision, growth, and execution of all digital businesses across Harry’s, Flamingo, Mando, and Lume . We design and deliver digital experiences that connect our customers to our products, while building the infrastructure that supports long-term omnichannel success.

Our team operates at the intersection of brand, customer, innovation, and technology. DTC is the heartbeat of our business - where we launch, learn, and build communities. Where we drive product innovation and interface directly with our customers, learning from their experiences to continually build and connect the brand. We’re accountable for the overall end-to-end customer experience. From marketing to site experience/checkout, to distribution and customer service, and wrapping all those analytics/insights together to bring lessons back into the overall Brand strategy. Ultimately, the team owns the P&L across multiple direct-to-consumer businesses, ensuring each brand thrives digitally while sharing best practices, platforms, and capabilities across the portfolio. Together, we bring innovation, consistency, and scale to Mammoth Brands’s digital ecosystem—while keeping the customer at the center.

About the Role

The team is seeking a great UX Designer/Architect to define and execute a user experience strategy that drives innovation and delivers seamless, customer-centered experiences across our digital platforms. In this role, you will lead the evolution of a scalable design system, champion accessibility and inclusivity, and align UX initiatives with business objectives. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to make data-driven decisions, and leverage user insights to deliver impactful results. By combining creativity, strategic leadership, and operational expertise, you will elevate the digital presence and craft consistent, delightful experiences for our customers.

In addition, you will be the people leader and UX/UI thought leader across a talented group of UX/UI designers for multiple omni-channel brands at different stages in their lifecycle. By looking at a systems approach to the family of omni-channel brands, you’ll work closely with the business and engineering to build scalable solutions across the entire portfolio.

What you will accomplish

Lead the UX Strategy: Develop and own the UX vision, aligning it with the business goals and the broader DTC roadmap. Champion a user-first perspective across all touchpoints.

Shape Exceptional Experiences: Partner with product management, engineering, and creative teams to conceptualize and deliver intuitive, scalable, and delightful experiences for customers across platforms and devices.

Collaborate on Product Roadmaps : Partner with product managers to influence and shape product roadmaps, ensuring UX considerations are integrated from the start of the product lifecycle.

Support Global Expansion : Adapt UX strategies to support into international markets, accounting for cultural nuances and regional preferences.

Own Accessibility Standards : Set and enforce accessibility standards across all design efforts, ensuring that Harry’s products are inclusive and meet WCAG guidelines.

Drive User Research & Insights: Oversee user research initiatives, synthesizing customer insights into actionable design strategies. Advocate for data-driven decision-making and user-centered approaches.

Maintain and Evolve the Design System: Collaborate with creative and technical teams to expand the design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across products and platforms.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with engineering, marketing, and other departments to align design goals with company objectives, ensuring seamless integration across all customer experiences.

Monitor and Refine: Establish key metrics to evaluate UX success. Leverage data to optimize designs and iterate on experiences based on customer feedback and business performance.

Advocate for UX Excellence: Act as a thought leader, staying ahead of industry trends and sharing best practices to continuously elevate the organization’s UX design capabilities.

Deliver Results in a Fast-Paced Environment: Manage competing priorities effectively, driving urgency and focus in a dynamic and entrepreneurial setting.

Lead and Build an Incredible team : You will manage a team of UX/UI designers that work across multiple omnichannel DTC brands

This should describe you:

8+ years of UX/product design experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles managing design teams and shaping UX strategies.

Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional design work and a clear ability to craft user-centered, functional, and elegant experiences.

Expertise in creating and scaling design systems and processes.

Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design across devices and platforms.

Proven ability to synthesize customer feedback, analytics, and market trends into actionable design solutions.

Skilled in using design tools such as Figma, with familiarity in prototyping tools like InVision, Flinto, or similar platforms.

Adept at collaborating cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for user needs.

Passionate about mentoring and developing design talent, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.

Experience working in Agile development environments.

Familiarity with usability testing platforms and user testing methodologies.

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms.

Strong grasp of customer lifecycle design and conversion optimization techniques.

Skilled in using data and user insights to guide design strategies, prioritize features, and measure the success of UX initiatives.

That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits and our equity program. The base salary hiring range for this position is $177,200-$220,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate’s location, skill level and experience.
