Senior Motion Graphics Artist Job at Pacific Asset Management in Newport Beach

Job Overview Pacific Life is seeking a seasoned Sr. Motion Graphics Artist to join our Creative Services team in Newport Beach, CA. This role will create compelling motion graphics for financial professionals and consumers, contributing to Pacific Life’s growth and brand presence.
Responsibilities Collaborate with Creative Directors, Producers, and writers to develop creative briefs and storyboards.
Create mood boards, pitch elements, and motion graphics from concept to final animation, using hand‑drawn and digital techniques.
Produce eye‑catching, modern motion‑graphic videos for internal and external audiences.
Present content to stakeholders and communicate with business partners and executives.
Help shape the visual style of the Consumer Markets Division and influence video production processes.
Work closely with graphic designers to translate design assets into video formats.
Qualifications 4–6 years of experience creating motion graphics for video.
Expert proficiency with Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere.
Deep understanding of post‑production workflows and the ability to turn scripts into complete videos from scratch.
Proficiency with Mac computers and network storage.
Desired Skills Experience with 3D modeling and motion graphics (Cinema4D, Element).
Ability to hand‑draw storyboards.
Additional knowledge of advanced compositing or visual effects tools.
Compensation & Benefits Base pay range: $93,600.00 – $114,400.00, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
