Henry’s wife. Earthy and maternal. Formidable and strong when she needs to be.

HENRY

– 30-39 y.o., Male, All ethnicities
Max’s husband. Likeable and affable with a good sense of humor, though not without a dark side.

RALEIGH

– 45-60 y.o., Female, All ethnicities
The HOSTS. Formidable mother figure who runs the household. Tender when she wants to be. (POSSIBLY AREADY CAST - TBD)

MARLOW

– 18-18 y.o., Female, All ethnicities
Eldest child of the household. Intense ringleader of the kids, quick-witted with a sardonic sense of humor. A survivor. Strong singing voice a plus, but not musical theatre — more folky/ethereal.

BERNIE

– 18-18 y.o., Female, All ethnicities
Deaf. Studious, watchful, intense. Protective of THE BOY. A survivor. If the role is not ultimately cast with a Deaf actor, we are committed to approaching the character with great care, authenticity, and consultation to ensure respectful and responsible representation.

THE ANCIENT

– 40-60 y.o., Female, All ethnicities
A mysterious, foreboding, possibly frightening figure. Flexible, singular and dynamic. Possessed of a strong physical life, possibly with dance or other forms of physical expression.
