Healthcare Innovation Marketing Program Director - 31348 University StaffDescriptionUniversity of Colorado Anschutz Medical CampusDepartment: CU InnovationsJob Title: Healthcare Innovation Marketing Program DirectorPosition #00816217 – Requisition #31348Job Summary:Leveraging their unique talent and skillset, the Healthcare Innovation Marketing Program Director will support CU Innovations strategic vision by researching cutting-edge technologies invented by campus faculty & researchers, developing strategic marketing plans, and generating marketing materials for CU Anschutz's most promising pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostic and other healthcare inventions. The Healthcare Innovation Marketing Program Director will support the CU Innovations licensing team and the goal of increasing campus revenue streams through strategic planning, market research, targeting and outreach for such technologies. The Healthcare Innovation Marketing Program Director must be a strategic, critical thinker with a demonstrated track record of taking successful action and a drive for challenging themselves.The Healthcare Innovation Marketing Program Director will analyze the competitive market for new technologies, value those technologies, and develop strategic marketing plans to license technologies. This position will support the Licensing Managers by bridging deal negotiations for their technology portfolios by implementing a targeted outreach strategy to potential licensees.Key Responsibilities:Work in a highly collaborative manner, with the Licensing Managers as the primary customers and cross functional partners.Understand the science behind innovative new medical technologies being developed at CU Anschutz. Partner closely with CU Anschutz scientists/inventors to ensure materials and potential technology applications are clearly and thoroughly captured.Conducting and/or overseeing primary and secondary market research to understand the competitive landscape for groundbreaking early technologies. Identify and use various market research resources while performing the job function.
