About the Role
ANDMORE is seeking a Director, Tradeshow Sales to support temporaries occupancy and revenue growth through strategic leasing, account management, prospecting, and customer relationship development. This role is responsible for managing new and renewal leases, maintaining a strong pipeline of prospects, and partnering cross-functionally to drive business results. The ideal candidate brings strong sales acumen, industry knowledge, analytical capability, and a customer-first mindset.
What You’ll Do
- Manage an account base of new and renewal tradeshow leases to maintain and grow temporaries occupancy.
- Prospect and cold call using competitive market intelligence, industry databases, and assigned account lists.
- Maintain accurate leasing contacts and prospecting activity within the company CRM.
- Provide reports, updates, and analysis to management as needed.
- Partner closely with internal teams to support shared company goals and objectives.
- Negotiate pricing structures to achieve target leasing goals.
- Maintain ownership of occupancy strategy and floor merchandising to preserve key adjacencies, critical brands, and category synergies.
- Oversee specialized areas as assigned.
- Gather and evaluate market intelligence, including lease terms, rental rates, and competitive activity.
- Travel to various markets as needed.
- Support market-related activities, including extended hours and weekend work during market events or travel periods.
- Lead or contribute to special projects as assigned.
- Work closely with Marketing, Events, and Digital teams to ensure effective customer communications and programming.
- Partner with Credit & Collections to help resolve outstanding balances in a timely manner.
What You’ll Bring
Qualifications and Experience
- Five to ten years of directly related experience in home furnishings and gift industries, tradeshow sales, leasing, or sales management.
- Proven success achieving or exceeding revenue goals.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and mathematical ability, including evaluating options and making sound business decisions quickly.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining responsiveness to customer and business needs.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain tenant and exhibitor relationships.
