Position Summary

Work with the SVP Produced Content & Development to execute tours produced by TPR. Coordinate events, tours, and labor for concerts, conferences, tours, and events for TPR and clients in coordination with the SVP Produced Content & Development. May be responsible for performing tasks related to pre-show advancement, rider building, as well as production and show design, spec, execution, and on-site management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead in the development of TPR-produced content from concept to completion. Includes developing concepts and execution plan alongside Talent Buyer or responsible relationship manager
  • Conduit and Leader of Communication and timelines with TPR team - Event Operations, Marketing, Sponsorship, Finance and Ticketing - to ensure flow and execution
  • Advise, aid and recommend SOP’s regarding event execution, including tour team assembly
  • Manage the tour expenses, production budget, and spending approval process for assigned tours & events
  • Advise, Aid and Track Budget (including offer review and proof), Actual expenses/spending, Ticket Counts (and any reallocations or adjustments), and Event/Tour Settlement from inception through final settlement, in conjunction with Talent Buyer and Events/Marketing/Ops Departments
  • Aid in the development of venue floor layout/s for confirmed events
  • Advise and develop Event Riders for TPR-produced Tours in coordination with assigned Talent Buyer (or relationship manager) and Artists/Artist Management
  • Coordinate staffing needs for assigned tours, including internal coordination with Events Dept for TPR staffing
  • Assemble event teams regarding sound, lights, video, back of house and other required touring personnel for event/tour execution in coordination with Event Operations
  • Manage contractor agreements and associated payment schedules for assigned tours & events
  • Manage Artist/Event/Tour Agreements
  • Set and manage deadlines and flags for all "triggers" for production and event talent communication
  • Manage the entirety of the "Run of Show" for TPR-produced tours based on the requirements and/or deliverables of the principal event talent, Talent Buyer, and/or sponsorship partner/s
  • Develop and Manage the flow of an event from the audience and talent P.O.V. for branded or partnership tours, including VIP experiences or events
  • Maintain relationships with key tour personnel
  • Attend, contribute and lead various meetings

About the Candidate

  • Ability to manage high stress situations on site while representing TPR
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Ability to multitask and work under deadlines
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Proficient with Google Apps and Microsoft Excel
  • Self-starter that takes initiative and is a quick learner
  • Flexible and able to change plans on the fly
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work without close supervision
  • Team player that likes to have fun

Qualifications

  • Degree in Music Business, Business, Psychology, or Communications preferred
  • 4+ years of experience leading and/or managing Events or Touring
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Christian music industry
  • Relationships with bus, truck, & production vendors a plus
  • Flexible with work schedule as some projects may require weekend and evening hours

Physical Demands

  • Frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout event venues
  • Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, during events and tours
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving of items up to 25–40 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach as needed for event setup and execution
  • Work in a variety of environments, including indoor/outdoor venues and loud production settings
  • Ability to travel as required

Report to: SVP - Produced Content & Development

Employment Status: Full-time, Hybrid (in office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Location: Nashville, TN

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000

Compensation will be commensurate with experience, with flexibility to increase for highly qualified candidates.
