Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Writer to create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for our products, systems, and internal processes. The ideal candidate has strong writing and editing skills, the ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible content, and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, Customer Support, and Operations.

This role is based in the United States and requires excellent written English, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple documentation projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation including user guides, product manuals, knowledge base articles, API documentation, SOPs, release notes, and training materials.

Work closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and subject matter experts to gather information and understand technical concepts.

Translate complex technical information into clear documentation tailored to different audiences, including end users, developers, and internal teams.

Organize and structure content to improve usability, consistency, and accessibility.

Review and revise existing documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with product updates.

Develop and maintain documentation standards, style guides, and content templates.

Support product launches by preparing documentation and release communications.

Conduct content audits and identify gaps in documentation coverage.

Manage documentation projects and meet deadlines across multiple initiatives.

Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation tools, workflows, and processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, Documentation Specialist, Content Developer, or similar role.

Excellent written, editing, and proofreading skills in English.

Ability to understand and document technical concepts, systems, and workflows.

Experience working with cross-functional teams in a technology-driven environment.

Familiarity with documentation tools and content management systems.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience writing software, SaaS, API, or developer documentation.

Familiarity with Markdown, HTML, XML, JSON, or documentation platforms such as Confluence, Notion, Zendesk, MadCap Flare, or Git-based documentation systems.

Understanding of Agile development environments.

Experience with UX writing, help center content, or knowledge management.

Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and technical terminology.
