We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Director of eCommerce to own and evolve our digital flagship experience. This role sits at the intersection of product, technology, and digital merchandising, and will lead the roadmap that powers our online growth and revenue. This is not a traditional marketing eCommerce role — we are looking for a product-minded leader who can partner closely with developers and third-party vendors to continuously improve the customer journey, site performance, and conversion. You will be responsible for translating business goals into a best-in-class website experience that drives revenue, enhances brand storytelling, and scales with the business.

We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Director of eCommerce to own and evolve our digital flagship experience. This role sits at the intersection of product, technology, and digital merchandising, and will lead the roadmap that powers our online growth and revenue.
This is not a traditional marketing eCommerce role — we are looking for a product-minded leader who can partner closely with developers and third-party vendors to continuously improve the customer journey, site performance, and conversion.
You will be responsible for translating business goals into a best-in-class website experience that drives revenue, enhances brand storytelling, and scales with the business.
WhatYou’llOwn
- Define and lead the eCommerce product roadmap (including app)
- Translate company goals into site features, functionality, and improvements
- Prioritize initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and ROI
- Own and optimize the eCommerce tech stack and app ecosystem, identifying tools that improve efficiency and ROI
Website Experience & Conversion Optimization
- Continuously improve UX/UI, site performance, and conversion
- Lead testing strategy including A/B testing, personalization, and experimentation
- Identify friction points and opportunities across the full customer journey
- Champion a customer-first mindset across all digital initiatives
- Serve as the primary partner to developers and third-party vendors.
- Manage agency partnership to ensure timely, well-scoped, business-aligned development.
- Oversee testing/QA and all feature releases on website and app.
- Oversee integrations with platforms such as:
- Shopify Plus
- TapCart
- Nosto (Search, personalization, and merchandising tools)
- Analytics and attribution platforms
- Subscription, loyalty, and retention tools
- In addition to others
- Ensure site stability, scalability, and performance
Data & Performance Ownership
- Own and report on key KPIs:
- Conversion rate
- Revenue and AOV
- Customer acquisition and retention
- Site speed and technical health
- Use analytics and customer insights to drive decisions and prioritization
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, and Operations
- Align product initiatives with campaigns, launches, and merchandising strategy
- Advocate for digital innovation across the organization
- Report to the VP of eCommerce & Marketing
Who You Are
Experience
- 5–10 years in eCommerce, Digital Product, or Product Management
- Proven experience owning an eCommerce site roadmap
- Experience working closely with development teams and external vendors
- Strong understanding of Shopify/Shopify Plus
- Experience with CRO, analytics, and experimentation
Skills
- Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable executing
- Deep understanding of UX, customer journeys, and online merchandising
- Highly data-driven and comfortable using analytics tools
- Strong project management and prioritization skills
- Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator
Bonus Points
- Experience in fashion, lifestyle, or DTC brands
- Familiarity with personalization, subscriptions, or loyalty programs
