SUMMARY

The Territory Manager manages and develops the business by serving our current customers and acquiring new customers within their assigned geographic territory. The geographic territory for this role is South Texas (all of Texas, south of Dallas).

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Consistently exceeds sales goals in geographic territory
  • Implement efficient territory management system to optimize call cycle to current and prospective customers
  • Understand the focus of the customer’s practice and help them to thrive by implementing our products and programs
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to grow the business
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of each account.
  • Provide extraordinary service to existing accounts
  • Educate customers on new and existing products
  • Support HCP’s on implementation of nutrition into their practice
  • Acquire new customers through effective prospecting strategies
  • Utilize company provided technology to manage territory sales and input activities on a daily basis
  • Monitor competition by gathering marketplace information on pricing, products and services
  • Attend required trade shows and report all leads back to the appropriate team members
  • Communicate monthly with at least your top 50 purchasing accounts
  • Effectively promote engagement in our professional educational events for HCP’s
  • Continuously study to learn not only our products, but nutritional and functional medicine to become an outstanding asset to our customers

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, preferred, but not required.

Experience:

  • Experience working with Functional Medicine & Integrative Practitioners MD, DO, PA, NP and Nutrition Professionals strongly preferred. Industry experience and/or clinical knowledge of cognition and microbiome, women’s health and wellness, required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an outside sales role
  • Demonstrated success in previous outside sales role utilizing value-based system selling, consultative selling and/or Professional Sales Skills (PSS) required.

  • Ability to travel by car and plane frequently
  • Strong Team Player: Demonstrates exceptional collaboration skills, fosters team unity while maintaining an open-minded approach to learn from colleagues.
  • Values diverse perspectives and contributes to a positive inclusive team environment when cross-collaborating with other departments and team members.
  • Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of HubSpot a plus but not required.
