THE ROLE Associate Photographers are the talented and versatile team responsible for media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Arranged into core territories, each photographer scans homes and apartments with Matterport Pro3 cameras, captures virtual tours, floor plans, and marketing photography, and collaborates closely with clients, sales associates, and the management team. Photographers are managed remotely by a local Photography Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES Support marketing on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing high‑quality 3‑D virtual tours and footprints. Create photography portfolios to showcase homes and apartments using professional techniques. Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands. Communicate professionally with clients, sales, research partners, and management to evaluate priorities, initiatives, and tasks. While not on a residential assignment, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real‑estate data coverage, identifying new inventory and missing availability. Adhere to CoStar safety standards for vehicle and equipment, and represent CoStar in a professional manner. Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing, and walking for up to 8 hours per day. Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds. Repetitive hand and arm movements for tablet or laptop and camera operation. Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying are necessary. Must be able to work and drive outside during all seasons and be available for weekends on a rotating schedule. QUALIFICATIONS At least 2 years of professional photography experience. Real estate photography experience required. Experience as a professional photographer or a recent degree in photography. Drone photographer with FAA Part 107 License/Certification obtained within 30 days of offer. Strong time‑management skills and attention to detail. Capability to capture and enter data accurately. Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications. Enjoys working independently in a fast‑paced environment; field experience preferred. Must possess a current and valid driver’s license and pass a satisfactory driving record check. COMPENSATION Hourly wage equivalent to $54,000–$55,000 annually, plus monthly performance‑based bonuses. Bonuses are awarded based on pre‑determined metrics.
