Position Summary
The Content Writer will write content for various campaigns and promotions, announcements, monitor social media sites, and assist Product managers with updates for websites.

Essential Function and Responsibilities

Creates Product whitepapers (marketing content) and helps to enter content into PIM database on various web properties to update and correct information.

Collaborates with Product Managers and Web Marketing Specialists to develop and advertise website promotions.

Writes UnFranchise announcements, flyers, infographics, presentations, blog posts, magazine articles, ads, and articles for promotional campaigns, new products, label copy, and website developments.

Creates and reviews all forms of content to ensure accuracy and relevancy.

Monitors social media campaigns and offers ideas and content for social media consideration.

Collaborates with key personnel and senior management to maintain consistent branding across all forms of content.

Collaborates with external creative talent to create effective content for advertisements.

Drives customer business to website through content aligned with brand strategies, advertising, and promotions to achieve sales goals.

Ensures that content standards are consistently applied to publications and social media (FDA disclosures, legal language, plagiarism).

Reviews website audits and updates via JIRA and PIM database.

Canada HN Home Garden, DNA, Shopping Annuity, TLS.

UnFranchise news announcements, sales aids, flyers, infographics, Media Index.

Complies with company policies and procedures.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Performs any other functions and duties assigned and necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of Market America.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None, but may direct the work of others.

Education & Experience

High School diploma or equivalent.

Associate degree in business, marketing or equivalent disciplines preferred.

Two (2) to four (4) years of relevant work experience in an administrative and/or business capacity.

Demonstrated experience in inventory control and logistics preferred.

Demonstrated experience in time management including related tools and technologies.

Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at once.

Computer/Communication Skills

Proficient use of MS Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, required.

High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted strategic projects in conjunction with day‑to‑day tactical activities.

Ability to get along and work with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, flexible.

Prioritizes and models good communication skills; follows up, timely responses, proactive and positive in approach.

Above moderate to high levels in reading comprehension, writing, and speaking in English; active listening; attention to detail.

Travel

Occasional local travel as needed.

Annual conference participation and related travel.
