Location/Work Style:
Please note this is a Full‑Time, Hybrid position at our Santa Cruz, CA headquarters, but we are open to remote possibilities for the right candidate.
About the Role
We’re looking for a systems‑driven, performance‑oriented marketing leader to help bring structure, clarity, and accountability to our marketing organization, while also leading two of our brands, Ricta Wheels and Krux Trucks.
You’ll spend the majority of your time improving how marketing works across the company, planning, reporting, and cross‑functional execution, while also ensuring Ricta and Krux are focused, consistent, and growing.
What You’ll Do
1. Lead Marketing Operations (Primary Focus)
Build and improve company‑wide marketing planning systems tied to product drops and sales cycles
Establish and maintain clear campaign frameworks and workflows across teams
Define, track, and report on core marketing KPIs
Deliver monthly performance insights with clear recommendations
Analyze D2C (Skate Direct), campaign, and product performance data
Improve and standardize use of marketing tools, reporting systems, and workflows
Ensure alignment across Marketing, Sales, Creative, and DTC teams
2. Own Brand Management – Ricta Wheels & Krux Trucks
Lead brand positioning, strategy, and execution
Drive revenue growth and contribution margin
Ensure consistent, authentic brand storytelling
Align marketing with product pipeline and sales priorities
Build focused, disciplined marketing plans (quality over quantity)
3. Oversee Social Media (Not Hands‑On)
Manage and guide Social Media Specialist
Ensure consistent posting cadence and content direction
Monitor performance (engagement, reach, watch time)
Provide feedback and optimise approach over time
4. Own Email Marketing as a Subject Matter Expert
Establish best practices across all brands
Improve email performance and revenue contribution
Analyze and optimise: Open rates, Click‑through rates and Campaign effectiveness
Partner cross‑functionally to align email with campaigns and product launches
Ensure high standard for execution & segmentation
Build seasonal and annual marketing calendars
Ensure campaigns are ready ahead of: Prebooks and Product Launches
Maintain discipline and prioritisation
