The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly skilled Environment Artist to help build beautiful, believable, and performant golf courses for GOLF+.
This role is focused on creating visually striking environments while shaping the courses themselves. You will contribute to both real-world-inspired courses and entirely original creations—helping shape layouts, visual identity, and atmosphere from the ground up.

This is a unique opportunity to help define the visuals for next-generation golf environments across multiple platforms.

Environment Art & World Building

Author and place foliage (grass, trees, plants) to build dense, believable ecosystems
Collaborate with technical artists to help shape and refine best-in-class course creation tools and workflows
Course Creation & Design
Translate both real-world reference and original ideas into compelling playable spaces
Design and build original golf course environments from concept through final polish
Contribute to course layout, flow, and overall player experience
Performance and Technical Support
Profile and optimize scenes, assets, and systems across target platforms (with a focus on Quest performance)
Ensure content pipelines produce performant results regardless of who builds the course
Collaborate with engineers on scalability and rendering strategies
Asset Creation & Integration
Create and optimize high-end 3D assets using Maya, Substance, and SpeedTree
Assemble, light, and polish environments in Unity
Ensure assets meet performance and memory budgets across platforms
Requirements

4+ years of experience as an Environment Artist or similar role in games
Expertise in 3D modeling, texturing, and world building
Strong foundational art skills, eye for scene layout, and visual structure
Demonstrated experience building realistic outdoor environments and props
Strong eye for natural detail, scale, and material definition
Experience creating foliage and working with vegetation systems
Collaborative team member who embraces feedback and iterates effectively
Experience building assets optimized for both mobile and high-end PC

Proficiency in Maya, Blender, or similar DCC tools
Substance Painter/Designer
Experience working in real-time engines (Unity experience is a strong plus)
