Mustangnews is hiring: KCPR Videographer in San Luis Obispo

KCPR videographers are tasked with giving a visual representation to the arts and culture of San Luis Obispo and the work of the station through well-crafted video narratives. This work often involves collaboration across the station with the content, news, podcast, production and marketing teams. The content created by our videographers — podcast episodes, live band performances, event recaps and short video reels — is shared via our social media channels, our website, and anywhere else we may reach our audience.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of how to operate a camera.

Adequate experience with a video editing software.

Responsibilities

Attending events to record raw footage for KCPR projects.

Editing raw footage into visually compelling videos that serve the KCPR brand.

Ability to work and communicate with a team.

Capable of meeting timely deadlines.

Attending group editing sessions to collaborate with other photo/video team members.
