
Military Analyst/Speechwriter

We are seeking an experienced Military Analyst / Speechwriter to support the CIG section at Fort Rucker, AL with an active Secret Clearance. This role requires a seasoned Army Aviation professional with strong analytical and writing capabilities to develop high-quality communications and strategic products supporting aviation operations, training, doctrine, and program management.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver high-quality briefings, speeches, information papers, and professional journal articles related to Army Aviation.
Analyze and synthesize complex aviation topics including operations, training, doctrine, and program management .
Interpret senior leader guidance and rapidly incorporate changes into draft products to meet tight deadlines.
Proofread and edit written materials from multiple contributors to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professional quality.
Identify and correct errors, ensuring all deliverables meet established standards.
Integrate strategic context , including emerging policies, training updates, and materiel developments, into written and briefing products.
Support senior leadership communication efforts with clear, concise, and impactful messaging.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Army Aviation .
Prior experience as an Army Aviation Planner or Military Analyst .
Operational expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Rotary Wing Aviation
Fixed Wing Aviation
Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)
Demonstrated experience developing:
Executive briefings
Speeches
Information papers
Professional journal articles
Strong editing and proofreading skills with the ability to enhance the quality of others’ work.
Ability to work in fast‑paced environments and meet strict deadlines.
Strong understanding of the strategic military environment and ability to incorporate evolving guidance into products.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting senior Army leadership or command‑level staff.
Familiarity with Army Aviation doctrine and policy development processes.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
