We are currently representing an industry-leading, well-funded startup in Los Angeles that is building the visual and interactive layer for the LLM-powered internet. They are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their Avatar Technology team and bridge the gap between frontier R&D and production-ready 3D assets.

The Technical Challenge:

Architect 3D Generative Models: Design and deploy models (Diffusion, Transformers, GANs) to synthesize high-quality 3D meshes, textures, and motion.

Bridge CG & ML: Apply advanced 3D computer vision and computational geometry to automate 3D reconstruction and tracking.

Optimize for Scale: Fine-tune, accelerate, and optimize ML models for seamless integration into real-time creator tools.

Research Implementation: Turn white-paper concepts (NeRFs, Gaussian Splatting, differentiable rendering) into user-facing creative technologies.

The Candidate Profile:

Education: Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, or a related field.

Experience: 3+ years of industry or research experience in ML, CV, or CG.

Tech Stack: Expert-level Python and deep experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of 3D principles and multimodal training for 3D vision. A publication track record (SIGGRAPH, CVPR, NeurIPS) is a significant plus.

Compensation: $240,000 – $340,000 base salary + meaningful equity.
