Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr

We are a leading global financial institution seeking to expand its presence and client relationships within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sectors. Our TMT franchise is a market leader, recognized for its deep industry expertise and a strong track record of executing landmark transactions. We foster a collaborative, fast-paced environment where professionals can thrive and significantly impact the evolving TMT landscape.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associates to join our TMT Coverage team. This pivotal role involves managing and growing key client relationships within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with product teams to deliver comprehensive financial solutions. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the firm's strategic initiatives and deepen our engagement with leading TMT companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior executives (C-suite, Board members) at TMT companies.
Business Development:
Lead origination efforts for M&A advisory, debt and equity financings, and other strategic transactions within the TMT sector.
Strategic Advisory:
Provide strategic advice to TMT clients on market conditions, industry trends, and potential transactional opportunities.
Mentor and guide junior team members, contributing to their professional development.
Qualifications:
Experience in investment banking, corporate banking ot ratings agency with a significant focus on TMT coverage or a closely related sector.
Proven track record of originating and executing M&A, debt, and equity capital markets transactions.
Prior experience in a client-facing role with direct responsibility for managing corporate relationships is essential.
Industry Expertise:
Deep understanding of the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors, including key trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory environments.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with expertise in valuation methodologies (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable company analysis).
Skills:
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels.
Strong leadership capabilities with experience mentoring or leading project teams.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
