Our client is a growing national services org that is looking for an AV Technician for a 12-week contract.
This position is on-site 5x/week in NYC.
We're seeking an Audiovisual Technician with a minimum of three years' experience in:
Configuring and troubleshooting videoconference codecs, conference room control systems, audio and video components, and AV design protocols.
Audio and video components, including audio DSPs and analog and digital switchers
Conducting equipment testing and assessments, monitoring workflow and service desk queues, and acting as a liaison to vendors for complex AV-related repairs.
Strong experience with protocols and AV design, including signal flow, VLANs, SIP, WebRTC, and H.239 duo-video, video bridging and gateways, and applicable platforms, including WebEx, Zoom, Cisco Jabber, and Microsoft Teams
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong customer service skills. You should be able to train non-technical users on technical systems and equipment and provide on-site support on an emergency basis.
