Job Summary
The responsibilities for this position include the following:
Event Production 50%
Support live event operations, including technical setup, troubleshooting, and breakdown
Support live EPSN+ broadcasting efforts, including camera operation, audio/visual monitoring, and production assistance
Assist with stage management, talent coordination, and run‑of‑show execution
Administrative Support: 25%
Provide administrative support, including calendar management, communications, and record keeping
Oversee event logistics, timelines, and production workflows
Assist with general departmental operations
Student Leadership: 20%
Supervise, train, and provide guidance to student staff
Coordinate student schedules and ensure effective team communication
Other Duties: 5%
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by department staff or supervisors
Required Qualifications
Be fully admitted to a graduate degree program at UWG. Please note: Students admitted provisionally are not eligible for assistantship positions.
Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Be enrolled full‑time in a UWG graduate program during the assistantship period.
Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all previous and current graduate coursework and remain in good academic standing.
Meet eligibility requirements for employment in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in event production
Basic knowledge of A/V systems
Licensed driver
Proposed Salary
A monthly stipend of $1,000.00 per month
A tuition waiver, reducing your graduate tuition to $25 per semester plus mandatory fees as long as you are employed in your assistantship.
