Floor Support Production Artist

The opportunity: This is an on‑site position in Longmont, CO. No remote opportunities for this position.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am–4pm
Pay: $18/hr
Essential Job Functions
Coordinate the burning of screens if they are damaged or missing from the screenprint cell
Update designs as necessary to follow Lakeshirts standards
Work with production to create the best quality product for our customers
Record errors to help with artist knowledge in creating production‑ready files
Actively reduce waste in department/lean processes
Work closely with leads to uphold standards to be communicated with artists/production
Communicate inconsistencies in standards to the Art Manager
Daily tasks will be determined by art/production requirements:
DTS (Direct‑to‑Screen) sending, Namedrop, Proofing, Art Comps
Hours are determined by production work schedule
Qualifications
2‑year or 4‑year degree in Graphic Design with Adobe Illustrator proficiency required
Must be detail oriented with excellent computer skills
Ability to multi‑task
High attention to detail
Independent decision making skills with reason and good judgment
Ability to work well in a team
Must be reliable, responsible, flexible and take direction well
Must be able to handle multiple interruptions and follow through
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Cognitive or Mental Requirements
Employee must be able to see and hear, read and write. Requires good judgment, people‑oriented, flexible, organized, diplomatic, reliable, enthusiastic, courteous, helpful, patience.
