We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior UI/UX Design Engineer to help shape the user experience of a complex Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) platform. This role sits at the intersection of design and front-end engineering—ideal for someone who not only designs clean, intuitive interfaces but can also implement them with precision in a real-world application. You will work on simplifying complex workflows into efficient, low-friction user experiences that minimize clicks, page loads and cognitive overhead.
Key Responsibilities UI/UX Design for Complex Systems Design intuitive workflows for data‑dense and operationally complex interfaces
Translate DCIM concepts (racks, power chains, cooling, network topology) into clear, usable UI patterns
Optimize user journeys to reduce interaction cost (clicks, navigation depth, context switching)
Component-Based Design & Implementation Design reusable UI components that serve as building blocks across the application
Ensure components are flexible and context‑aware (adapt styling/behavior based on usage context)
Contribute to and evolve a consistent design system
Pixel-Perfect Execution Implement UI with high visual fidelity—attention to spacing, alignment, typography and micro‑interactions
Identify and correct inconsistencies (e.g., off‑by‑one spacing, misaligned elements, visual imbalance)
Front‑End Development Own, write and maintain CSS (or SCSS/Tailwind/etc.) to support scalable, maintainable UI patterns
Collaborate closely with front‑end engineers to integrate designs into a complex codebase
Ensure UI performance remains high even in data‑heavy views
Required Qualifications Bachelor's of Engineering or Computer Science Degree
1–3 years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end CSS development
Strong visual design fundamentals (spacing, layout, typography, hierarchy)
Experience designing and implementing reusable UI components
Proficiency in CSS and modern front-end styling approaches
Familiarity with design tools (zeroheight, Figma, Storybook, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications Exposure to data center environments or DCIM concepts
Experience working with complex enterprise or data‑heavy applications
Understanding of component-driven frameworks (Angular and AngularJS)
Experience with design systems or UI libraries
Benefits We are all about delighting our clients and live/breathe the end client/user experience
We stock the office with soda, snacks, coffee and tea for you to refuel throughout the day
We have amazing PTO Policy that allows you to take care of yourself and your family
