JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role is ideal for someone passionate about beauty trends, consumer insights, and data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, adaptable, eager to learn, and enjoys contributing fresh ideas while supporting cross-functional teams.

This position plays a key role in supporting business insights, innovation, and marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include pulling and analyzing Nielsen data to identify category trends, competitive performance, pricing, and consumer behaviors; maintaining competitive and innovation databases; and managing key trackers and deliverables.

WHO YOU’LL LEAD/COLLABORATE WITH: (supervisory responsibilities)
You’ll collaborate with cross functional team members including the Product Experience Team, Project Managers, Creative, and Sales. You’ll report to the Senior Brand Manager, Marketing innovation and also help out the other Senior Manager on the team on a as-needed basis.

You’re extremely organized and detail oriented. You adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, love contributing new ideas, have a wiliness to learn and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.

Business Insights & Research

Pull and analyze Nielsen to identify category trends, competitive performance, pricing and consumer behaviors.

Help manage deliverables (i.e. Product Council follow ups, Sales follow ups, etc.…)

Maintain and update databases containing competitive products, UPC numbers, claims, and packaging details.

Own and keep the Innovation Plan Tracker and New Items & Deletes Tracker up to date.

Support competitive research including launch tracking, claims analysis, ingredient trends, product formats, and market whitespace.

Research and validate macro and micro beauty trends across channels, with experience in tools such as Spate, Mintel, and WGSN (preferred, but not essential) to help identify white space opportunities.

Innovation Support & Marketing Materials

Manage product approval files and formula submissions for all active projects and ensure they remain organized and up to date.

Participate in ideation and brainstorming sessions for new product concepts, claims, and brand experiences.

Assist in the creation of internal Fact Sheets as well as Sell Sheets for Retailer meetings.

Support your manager (sometimes along with the other Senior Brand Manage in the department) with day-to-day and ad hoc needs.

Over time, assist in writing first draft of copy for new product launches.

Requirements
REQUIRED SUPERPOWERS: (required skills and abilities)

Experience with syndicated data (Nielsen equivalent) is strongly preferred.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights and actions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Creative writing or copy writing experience (or a love for it) is a plus.

Passion for beauty; experience in haircare is preferred.

Creative, self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.

2-4 years of experience required.

This is an office-based role

Hybrid work schedule: 4 days in office and 1 day remote
