Business Development Representative – Responsibilities
We are seeking a Business Development Representative to assist First Atlantic Federal Credit Union to live out our Mission and Vision by working directly with the COO to provide the best value financial services to members by providing outstanding service to both external and internal members in Middlesex and West Monmouth Counties.

Will be responsible for growing the credit union's core deposits, treasury management services through referrals, self‑sourced efforts and partnering with the Commercial Lending team

Will need to identify, develop and source new commercial banking business and maintains a quality network of relationships and referrals generated from other sources

The successful candidate will be measured by their ability to cultivate leads, secure new client acquisitions, and contribute to the commercial bank's overall revenue and growth

The primary focus is driving growth by identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new commercial banking customers with over $75MM in annual revenue

Drive the business development and outbound sales execution for soliciting new deposits, lending and business management services

Leverage market intelligence to identify untapped opportunities and optimize outreach strategies

Work with marketing to implement go‑to‑market strategies and create client outreach strategies and communications

Assisting in the development of our new markets in Freehold and Old Bridge, NJ

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent math and accounting skills.

Excellent personal and professional leadership skills.

Understanding of banking regulatory matters and procedures for proper operation.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software programs.

Education and Experience
High school graduate or GED or two - three years' experience

Associate degree or bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent banking industry experience.

Sales experience in Middlesex and West Monmouth Counties.

Salary
$75,083.88 – $93,854.85 per year
