Social Supply, Washington, DC, USA

Pay: $120,000-$150,000/yr

Job type: Full Time

Compensation
$120,000 – $150,000 + Significant Performance-Based Bonuses

How to Apply
Email your resume, portfolio and a cover letter to careers@socialsupplydesign.com.

In your cover letter, walk us through a $150K+ event where you were the main point of contact. Tell us how you interpreted the client’s vision, how you communicated it to your team, and what the final result looked like.

Who You Are
You have spent years producing large, complex events at the highest level of execution. You’ve owned the client relationship from the first call through the final strike, kept budgets intact under pressure, and managed an EP or project coordinator below you while also directing installers on-site. You know how to listen to a client, distill what they actually want, and communicate that vision clearly to every person on the team. Your clients come back because working with you feels seamless, even when it isn’t.

Why This Role Matters (For You)
Social Supply produced $10.8M in events in 2025, growing 36% year over year. We do high-end, complex work — large-scale environments, custom fabrication, full design and production in-house. We already have the team, the process, and the reputation. What we need is a senior producer who can take the wheel on our largest accounts and own them completely. If you want to do the best work of your career on events that actually get built, this is where you do it.

What You’ll Actually Do

Own the client relationship end-to-end: Be the main point of contact for clients on $150K+ projects. Manage the relationship from proposal through strike.

Translate vision into execution: Interpret what the client actually wants and articulate that design direction clearly to the full team. Be the connective tissue between the client’s vision and what gets built.

Partner with designers throughout the process: Work closely with our experiential and industrial designers from concept through installation. Protect design intent as the project moves from rendering to reality.

Lead your team on every project: Manage an Event Producer and a coordinator support person on every account. Set direction, delegate clearly, and hold the standard.

Own the install on-site: Provide on-site direction to installers during load-in, build, and strike. You know what good installation looks like and you hold the team to that standard in the field.

Meet the budget, every time: Own project financials end-to-end. Build accurate estimates, manage costs through execution, and close projects on or under budget — as the standard, not the exception.

Partner with leadership on major opportunities: Work with Ryan and Jess on complex proposals and high-value client strategy. Be the senior production voice in the room.

Results (What Winning Looks Like)

Clients come back. Your retention rate is extremely high because clients trust you with their most important events.

The design vision is realized. What the client envisioned and what our designers drew is what gets built.

Budgets are met. You estimate accurately, manage costs throughout, and close on or under budget consistently.

Your team executes cleanly. The EP, coordinator, and installers working your projects are well-directed and aligned on the vision.

Requirements (What You’ve Already Mastered)

7+ years in event production: Consistent experience producing $150K+ events as the main POC. Not assisted — owned.

Main POC experience on high-value accounts: You’ve owned the client relationship fully — not handed it up when things got hard.

Experience managing on-site installation: You’ve directed installers in the field on complex builds. You know what quality installation looks like.

Experience working with experiential or industrial designers: You’ve partnered with designers throughout production and know how to protect design intent as a project moves into execution.

Demonstrated budget discipline and client retention: You consistently meet project budgets and your clients come back. These aren’t aspirational — they’re your baseline.

This Role Is NOT For You If…

You’ve never been the main POC on a $150K+ event from proposal through strike.

You struggle to communicate design direction to a multi-disciplinary team.

Your client retention isn’t something you’d point to with pride.

You’re not comfortable in a physically demanding, on-site production environment.
