Graphic Production Artist (Print & Sign Shop)
Description: We are a fast-paced print and sign shop looking for a detail-oriented Graphic Production Artist. This role focuses on layout, file setup, and production work—not high-concept creative design. It is a production-driven position. You will work with customer-provided and from-scratch files, preparing them for print and ensuring accuracy and quality across a high volume of jobs. If you enjoy clean layouts, working efficiently, and solving file problems, you will do well here.
Responsibilities:
Prepare files for digital and wide-format printing.
Set up artwork (bleeds, resolution, color modes, etc.)
Edit and correct customer-submitted files.
Proofread and perform quality control.
Manage and organize digital files.
Work closely with production staff to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
Strong layout and typography skills.
High attention to detail (accuracy is critical).
Ability to work quickly and stay organized under deadlines.
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Strong spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills.
Comfortable working primarily on a Mac.
Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
Preferred but not required: experience in a print shop or sign company.
Preferred but not required: familiarity with print production or prepress workflows.
