Overview
We are looking for an experienced who will lead the design and development of user-centric, scalable, and performant web applications. This role bridges front-end engineering and user experience (UX) design, ensuring seamless usability, visual consistency, and technical feasibility across applications.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the UX architecture strategy for React-based applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to translate business and user needs into intuitive experiences.
- Architect reusable React components and design systems for scalable applications.
- Provide technical leadership in React best practices, accessibility (WCAG/ARIA), and responsive design.
- Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and ensure adherence to UX/UI standards and guidelines.
- Guide the integration of design frameworks, libraries, and patterns to improve efficiency and maintainability.
- Partner with UX researchers to validate design concepts with users and iterate based on feedback.
- Stay current with emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance product experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in front-end development with at least 5+ years in React.js.
- Strong background in UX design principles, usability, and accessibility.
- Expertise in React, Redux (or other state management libraries), TypeScript, and modern ES6+ JavaScript.
- Proficiency with design systems (Material UI, Chakra, Tailwind, or custom).
- Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox/Grid, responsive and cross-browser development.
- Familiarity with design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Experience in architecting large-scale, component-driven applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering (SSR).
- Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture.
- Knowledge of CICD pipelines, cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
