Job Title: Production Artist
Location: Onsite (333 Continental Boulevard El Segundo California 90245 United States)
Schedule: Standard business hours
Duration: 6-month contract with potential extension
Pay Rate: $50–$65/hour based on experience
Position Summary
We are seeking a Production Artist responsible for the high-quality production of images and page layouts that align with editorial, design, and brand standards. This role will prepare and release files for both print and digital use while supporting high-resolution image manipulation, retouching, and color correction across multiple media channels.
The ideal candidate will have strong production design skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Trading card industry experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
• Produce and prepare files for print and digital production
• Perform high-resolution image retouching and color correction
• Ensure layouts and assets meet editorial, design, and brand specifications
• Maintain organized production files, layers, and asset management systems
• Support typography and production layout updates across multiple projects
• Manage multiple deadlines and shift priorities as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams while also working independently
• Release final production-ready assets for multiple media channels
Required Qualifications
• 3–5 years of experience in a production artist or related design role
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong typography and production design skills
• Experience with retouching, image manipulation, and color correction
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and frequent task changes
• Professional attitude with the ability to take direction and work independently
• Strong file management, layer organization, and production workflow experience
• Strong Excel skills preferred
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, or related field
• Trading card industry experience preferred
