Freelance Tech Pack Designer

Purpose
Create detailed construction tech packs for the Women’s Activewear division within Illustrator, uploading and maintaining all style information with PLM system, and working across Design / Technical Design / Production teams on maintaining accurate system information throughout the development process. The candidate must be independent, goal oriented, and extremely organized; must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Design Director through development phases of line creation.

Sketching and maintaining cad styles within Illustrator program.

Developing detailed construction tech packs within PLM system based on cad sketches.

Collaborating with technical designers to ensure development packages are accurate.

Reviewing protos for accuracy based on tech pack information.

Qualifications

Strong organizational skills with high attention to product details.

Ability to communicate and interact with all cross functional teams.

Highly Proficient in PLM systems and Illustrator.

Ability to maintain rotating deadlines for multiple brands simultaneously.

2+ minimum years design / tech pack experience.

Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat.

Knowledge and experience in contemporary activewear a plus.
