Communications play a critical role in strengthening the Ventas reputation and ensuring clarity and consistency across every audience.About The RoleThe Senior Designer, Digital Communications is responsible for executing and maintaining the company’s digital presence and visual brand across platforms. This role blends creative strategy and execution with operational oversight, ensuring consistency, quality and accessibility of digital assets that support the organization’s communications and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, visually driven and experienced in managing digital content across multiple channels. Key responsibilities include:Support brand strategy and execution across the Company through visual design and digital experience using a combination of in-house execution and agency resourcesMaintain network of agency partners and manage engagements, including scope development, budgeting, timelines and stakeholder engagementManage and maintain company website(s) and other digital platforms, ensuring content is current, accurate, and aligned with brand standardsPartner with internal teams and external vendors on updates, enhancements, and functionality improvementsUphold and enforce brand standards across all digital and visual materialsCreate and edit high-quality graphics for presentations, marketing materials and digital useEnsure consistency in tone, design and messaging across all channelsServe as liaison for photography and videography needs, coordinating shoots and managing vendor relationshipsOversee editing, selection and delivery of visual contentOwn and maintain the company’s brand identity and assets, brand guidelines and digital asset library, including organization, tagging and accessibility of filesEnsure assets are up-to-date, properly licensed and easily retrievableManage day-to-day social media posting and content publishing across platformsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to source content and ensure alignment with brand guidelinesMonitor engagement and ensure timely updates (strategy may be supported by leadership or external partners)Design digital and print materials for corporate events, including invitations, presentations, and on-site visualsEnsure cohesive branding across all event-related materialsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field6-8 years of experience in digital communications, design, or brand managementMust be located in the Chicago, IL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employmentWillingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment with 3-days in office, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations.Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or similar platformsExperience managing website content (CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar)Strong eye for design, detail, and brand consistencyExperience coordinating with external creative vendors (photography, videography, etc.)Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without need for employer sponsorship now or in the futureThe estimated base salary range for this position is $100,000 – $140,000 per year. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of the base salary Ventas reasonably expects to pay at the time of posting.
