The Marketing Program Coordinator provides coordination and operational support for UT MD Anderson's local, regional, and national advertising and marketing programs. These programs support the institution's overall strategic vision. This role assists with the strategy, development, and execution of advertising campaigns, including helping to manage the day‑to‑day work of external agencies and provides budget tracking and logistical support for the advertising team.

This remote position will be expected to attend onsite events as needed for business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support in the coordination and oversight of advertising campaigns

Assist in tracking and reporting key performance metrics, including leads, marketing‑influenced new patient registrations, engagement, and other effectiveness measures

Support the advertising team with ad hoc needs such as leadership presentations, audits, agency coordination, internal logistics, and budget tracking

Coordinate miscellaneous advertisements as requested, working with the internal design team and external agencies

Assist with landing page development in collaboration with internal stakeholders and agency partners

Support the day‑to‑day coordination of paid promotion opportunities in partnership with the Public Relations team

Collaborate with colleagues in the Marketing department, Institutional Affairs division, and across the organization to ensure smooth communication and coordination of shared projects

Key Functions

The Marketing Program Coordinator supports the strategy, development, execution, and ongoing management of marketing programs that support local, regional, and national advertising efforts, priority service lines, and other institutional initiatives.

This role assists with developing presentations, supporting key projects, and coordinating logistics related to marketing program plans.

The Advertising and Marketing Coordinator helps manage external agencies and works with internal teams to develop and execute advertisements, media plans, and other elements of integrated advertising campaigns.

This position also supports advertising plans related to sponsorships and philanthropic initiatives.

Project Management and Planning

Identifies marketing needs and coordinates activities for advertising and marketing initiatives

Works with internal departments and external agencies to develop and manage advertising needs, media plans, and campaign materials

Participates in regular project meetings to support coordination and progress across internal and external teams

Helps implement and maintain brand and messaging guidelines

Works with internal partners to support collaboration, efficiency, and adherence to institutional standards

Measurement and Reporting

Tracking program effectiveness and key return‑on‑investment metrics

Coordinating with agency partners and internal teams to ensure accurate tracking for broadcast, out‑of‑home, print, and digital media

Supporting confirmation and tracking processes for key conversions

Reporting metrics and insights to stakeholders and helping incorporate findings into ongoing marketing plans

Budget and Vendor Management

Tracking and managing multiple advertising and marketing budgets

Participation in request‑for‑proposal processes for marketing‑related contracts

Management of external agency relationships, including selection support, contract coordination, budget tracking, and performance evaluation

Other Duties
Provides additional marketing support and consultation as assigned.

Education

Required: Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Communications, Business or other related fields.

Work Experience

Required: Five years Marketing experience in a managed care, sales, communications or healthcare environment.
