We are seeking a talented Apparel Designer to create commercially viable, brand-right designs within a sleepwear and loungewear category. This role is responsible for taking seasonal product from concept through production, delivering thoughtful, trend-relevant designs that align with business strategy, customer needs, and brand aesthetic.


The ideal candidate has hands-on experience designing sleepwear or lounge product categories such as pajamas, sleep sets, robes, and soft comfort apparel. This is essential for success in the role.


What You'll Do



  • Design seasonal sleepwear and loungewear collections from concept through final production

  • Create detailed sketches, CADs, and technical flats using Adobe Illustrator

  • Develop tech packs with clear construction, fabric, and fit specifications

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including product development, merchandising, marketing, and vendors

  • Participate in fittings and refine designs based on feedback and wear testing

  • Research trends, materials, and competitors to inform design direction

  • Maintain accurate design documentation including linesheets and PLM systems

  • Ensure designs meet aesthetic, quality, cost, and timeline requirements


What We're Looking For



  • 4+ years of apparel or fashion design experience in a retail or consumer brand environment

  • Direct experience designing sleepwear and/or loungewear products (required)

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for technical CAD creation

  • Experience developing tech packs and working through product development cycles

  • Solid understanding of garment construction, fit, and fabric behavior

  • Experience working with vendors and cross-functional teams through production

  • Ability to respond to feedback and iterate quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines


Nice to Have



  • Experience in intimates, lingerie, or soft apparel categories

  • Strong hand sketching skills

  • Experience with PLM systems

  • Knowledge of textile development, lace, or print design

  • Strong trend research and fashion history knowledge
