About the Job:

Rochester is seeking a

Fixed Maintenance Reliability Technician.

The Reliability Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of the crushing circuit and equipment by performing regular inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance. They will work to identify and resolve mechanical issues, improve equipment performance, and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities:

Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
Perform condition-monitoring routes including: vibration routes, thermography routes, taking oil samples when required, regular inspection routes, and reviewing online machine condition data
Work with maintenance and operations groups to expand current condition-monitoring systems throughout the mine site
Contribute to documentation of Reliability program activities and operations
Participate in precision maintenance operations, including shaft alignment and belt alignment
Use hand tools, power tools and precision-measuring devices and testing instruments
Required Qualifications & Skills:

High School Diploma or GED
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery
Willingness to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations
Recommended

Experience troubleshooting machinery in a mining or industrial environment
Experience with best practices regarding gathering machine vibration data, gathering oil samples, and using IR cameras
Experience with precision shaft alignment using dial indicators and / or laser alignment systems
Experience reading electrical schematics/mechanical drawings
Two (2) or more years of experience working in a mining or industrial setting
Certifications in the industrial reliability and maintenance fields
Safety and Compliance:

Knowledge of health and safety standards (in particular, for industrial or mining environments)
Familiarity with hazardous material handling
Commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines
Strong communication skills
Problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail
Adaptability
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Additional Information:

Quarterly bonus up to $4,100 (up to $16,400 annually)
Hourly Rate Range: $39.91- 49.10 (DOE)

6% dollar-for-dollar employer match to 401k or Roth, immediate vesting
Bus service from Lovelock, Winnemucca, and Fallon
Travel pay for those outside of bussing service
