I’m seeking an experienced documentary editing consultant to review my completed feature film and provide clear, time-coded editorial notes that my editor can directly implement. This is a consulting role, not an editing position.
The film is the foundation for a larger series (Vibrational Journeys), so feedback should strengthen story clarity, pacing, emotional arc, and market readiness for festivals and distribution.
Key Areas of Focus:
Opening hook and audience orientation (first 5–7 minutes)
Narrative spine and emotional throughline
Pacing, rhythm, and repetition
Clarity vs. experiential moments
Strength and resonance of the ending
Scope:
Watch full feature documentary
Provide written, time-coded recommendations
Assess readiness for festivals and streamers
Ideal Candidate:
Documentary editing or consulting experience
Strong story and pacing instincts
Familiar with festival and distribution standards
Able to give actionable, implementable notes
Deliverable: Written notes (optional follow-up call)
