Title: Senior Art Director
Location: Dallas, TX
Schedule: Monday-Thursday onsite, Friday remote
Duration: 6+ months
Compensation: $25-32/hr.

Overview
We are seeking a Social Media Art Director who is both a creative thinker and strong visual storyteller. This individual will help concept and execute engaging, platform-first content across global and regional social channels. This role blends ideation, hands‑on design, and awareness of emerging trends to support brand growth and audience engagement. You’ll work closely with a cross‑functional creative team to bring social content to life in a way that feels relevant, modern, and impactful.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the concepting and execution of social-first creative across major platforms (short‑form video, static, and mixed media content)
- Design and produce content tailored for both organic and paid social campaigns
- Partner with creative, marketing, and strategy teams to develop content aligned with campaign objectives
- Assist in art direction for social-focused photo and video shoots, including planning and on‑set collaboration
- Collaborate with designers, editors, and writers to ensure cohesive storytelling and strong execution
- Contribute to the development of social content guidelines, templates, and playbooksStay current on social trends, platform updates, and cultural moments to inform creative direction
- Ensure all content aligns with brand standards and platform best practices
- Support collaborations with external creators and influencers
- Contribute to a collaborative, team‑oriented creative environment
Core Skills & Competencies
- Ability to translate creative direction into engaging, platform-specific content
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and evolving content trends
- Solid eye for design, composition, and visual storytelling (including motion/video)
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally and incorporating feedback
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
- Growth mindset with a willingness to learn and iterate
- Appreciation for both polished and lo‑fi content styles
- Awareness of cultural trends and ability to apply them in a brand‑relevant way
Qualifications
- 1‑2 years of experience in design, art direction, or social content creation
- Portfolio showcasing work across social, digital, and/or video formats
- Basic understanding of photo/video production workflows
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; motion/animation tools are a plus
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Positive attitude and openness to feedback
- Interest in storytelling, digital content, and social media innovation
