Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Regional Director of Sales based in Columbus, GA. The Regional Director of Sales will oversee daily operations related to sales, drive business development initiatives, manage customer relationships, and lead the sales team to achieve performance targets. Responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, monitoring sales metrics and analytics, and fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

4+ years' experience in the hospitality industry required
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

· Work with property sales to identify top accounts in the market and aggressively target those accounts to build corporate base
Review and analyze Account Production reports to ensure corporate and group production are stable or growing year over year
· Minimum of 5 sales calls each week and/or appointments with top prospects in each market you serve. Travel 1-2 days each week working assigned markets
· Expectation is for hotels to achieve 116% revpar index with aspirational goal of 120%.
· Conduct monthly sales property visits
Oversee and monitor sales system activity reports
Assist and help organize hotel sales blitzes as needed
Work closely with the property Sales and Revenue Management team to assist in Group and LNR pricing decisions.
Assist Sales in maintaining and optimizing brand websites on a quarterly basis for content refresh as needed
Be knowledgeable of each market you serve and aware of special events and demand generators
Assist in the annual RFP process for each property
Work with each property to educate and train team members on maximizing daily revenue and daily sales strategies
Work with sales and revenue team in setting up packages and special event pricing for each property as needed
Review upcoming group strategy and group blocks 30, 60, 90 days for needed action
· Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote RAM Hotels
· Recommend policies and procedures to enhance sales and operations
· Enforces sales department company policies and procedures
Assist RAM Hotels in acquisitions and turnover of new acquired properties
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
