Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Extended Stay Brand Management leads the execution of defined brand initiatives for WoodSpring Suites and Everhome Suites. The role translates strategic direction into scoped initiatives, execution plans, and measurable outcomes that optimize the operating model, owner and guest value proposition, and ROI for Choice Hotels’ extended stay brands.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Planning & Execution
- Lead end‑to‑end execution of assigned brand initiatives aligned to brand strategy and priorities.
- Translate strategic direction into defined scopes of work, execution plans, timelines, and success metrics.
- Partner with brand leadership to frame options and recommendations informed by consumer, competitive, and stakeholder insights.
- Coordinate closely with internal partners, centers of excellence, and vendors to ensure disciplined execution quality and speed.
- Identify risks, trade‑offs, and decision points and accelerate with context and recommendations.
Financial & Operational Analysis
- Monitor brand and competitive performance and synthesize insights to inform execution priorities.
- Partner with franchise performance and analytics teams to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Apply insights to improve execution decisions, prioritization, and pacing of initiatives.
Brand Ambassador & Stakeholder Engagement
- Represent the brands with credibility and consistency across internal and external forums, including franchisees and advisory councils.
- Prepare and deliver clear, outcome‑oriented communications that reinforce brand strategy, priorities, and performance.
- Lead coordination and execution for the WoodSpring FAC CapEx Committee in partnership with brand leadership.
Product & Prototype Management
- Own orchestration and decision framing for prototype and product‑related initiatives.
- Partner with centers of excellence and vendors on specifications, validation, and delivery.
- Evaluate product decisions through the lens of owner ROI, capital implications, speed to market, and downstream brand performance.
- Prepare options and recommendations for brand leadership rather than resolving tactical design details independently.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- MBA preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of professional‑level experience in brand management, management consulting, project management, or a related field.
- Hospitality, hotel industry, or franchise organization experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution and drive results through influence rather than authority.

- Proven analytical and financial acumen with the ability to synthesize insights into recommendations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive‑level presentations.
- Sound judgment, prioritization, and decision‑making in complex environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot).
- Ability to travel up to 25%.

Location & Hybrid Work Schedule

This role is based in Pike & Rose (Rockville, MD).
Hybrid Work Schedule
This position follows a hybrid work schedule and requires regular, in‑person presence at the Pike & Rose office Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office and work on‑site as required to support collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and business needs.
Compensation & Salary Range
Salary Range: $114,185 - $135,185 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus under Choice’s Management Incentive Plan (MIP). Pay ranges listed are what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. Actual pay may be higher or lower and ranges may be adjusted in the future.
