Job Overview
The high demand in Audacy's Podcast business necessitates a dedicated Inventory Manager to support the substantial growth in video ad opportunities including episodic video and audio sales. This role is key to maximizing revenue by managing multiple sales channels that utilize our inventory. We are seeking a high‑caliber marketing professional to join our fast‑paced, expanding business. This unique position encompasses both pre‑sales planning and inventory management, as well as crucial post‑sales support. Responsibilities include booking, monitoring, and reporting performance data for digital campaigns to ensure all audio and video executions are successful and run smoothly.

Responsibilities

Provide direction and visibility on inventory and category availability to Audacy’s National (Performance, Enterprise) and Local Sales teams in order to maximize revenue and optimize CPMs for the most in‑demand high‑profile podcasts.

Support the expansion of the “high touch” video podcast offering by providing focused attention to help grow this additional revenue stream.

Work with Sales and Account Managers to ensure date‑specific Episodic Audio and Video inventory is monitored, and “on HOLD” pending client IOs, and communicate with Sales to fill inventory and prevent it from going unmonetized.

Provide Sales with opportunities to drive incremental podcast revenue from lower‑sold video and audio inventory.

Ensure digital campaigns move through the fulfillment and revision process, meeting necessary timelines for host‑read deadlines and client expectations.

Achieve a thorough understanding of internal systems so as to respond to internal and external requests efficiently.

Book and manage Partnership campaigns growing within the Podcast landscape.

Post‑Sale Support

Monitor campaigns to ensure they hit agreed goals during their flights.

Alert appropriate parties of anticipated problems and provide suggested solutions, adjusting as necessary.

Prepare and provide performance reporting for digital campaigns, giving results for Sales to share with clients/agencies.

Assist with ongoing and month‑end campaign/order reconciliation to verify delivery against monthly billing amount.

Qualifications

Minimum two years of experience working in the podcast industry.

Experience managing and monitoring digital marketing campaigns.

Minimum two years experience working in a sales environment.

Ability to multi‑task efficiently in an organized, logical, process‑oriented manner.

Professional demeanor; comfortable presenting to and interacting directly with clients.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with various teams across the company.

Comfortable working with ambiguity and able to prioritize accordingly.

Quick‑witted, understanding, and offering solutions across responsibilities.

Strong attention to detail.

Experience with Megaphone is a plus.
