[Volunteer] Graphic Designer (Social Media & Digital Content)

Are you passionate about visual storytelling, digital content, and building community online? Join us at FOUND, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting people in transition, especially those on dependent visas or in pauses.
We’re looking for a Volunteer Graphic Designer to help create thoughtful, engaging visuals for our social media platforms and occasional presentations. Experience with video editing is a plus, but not required.
What You’ll Do
Design graphics for social media posts across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
Occasionally design presentations, web graphics, or internal materials
Collaborate with our Social Media Team to maintain a consistent visual identity aligned with FOUND’s mission and tone
Work primarily in Figma for design creation
Use Notion as a shared collaboration and project-tracking space
(Bonus) Edit short-form videos for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels, including basic cuts, captions, and formatting
What We’re Looking For
A strong eye for visual storytelling, layout, and digital design
Experience designing for social media (nonprofit, community, or mission-driven work is a plus)
Comfort working in Figma (or willingness to learn quickly)
Basic familiarity with social platforms and content formats
Ability to manage time independently and collaborate asynchronously
Availability to commit ~10 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
Nice to Have (But Not Required)
Experience editing short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
Familiarity with accessibility-minded design (readability, contrast, alt text awareness)
Interest in mental health, immigrant communities, or community-based work
