Audio Visual Technician

Pay Range: $17hr - $22hr
Requirement/Must Have:

Experience setting up, operating, maintaining, and repairing audio visual equipment used for live events and conference rooms.
Experience troubleshooting end-user and AV devices in conference room environments.
Experience installing and maintaining display devices, projectors, televisions, camera systems, video teleconferencing systems, microphones, and speakers.
Experience providing hands-and-eyes support, including deployment, racking, stacking, patching, and cabling of AV devices.
Experience managing AV equipment inventory, wiring, accessories, and spare parts.
Experience tracking and resolving incidents and service requests related to break-fix support.
Experience coordinating replacement of faulty parts under OEM support.
Ability to prioritize and complete work orders accurately and on time.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and end-user support skills.
Ability to provide quick user training on AV technologies.
Experience:

Experience in audio visual support, conference room technology support, or related technical support roles.
Experience with AV device installations, break-fix support, and preventive maintenance.
Experience supporting video conferencing and live webcast events.
Experience with hardware inventory and stockroom asset management.
Experience creating end-user documentation and training materials.
Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, maintain, and repair equipment used to enhance live events, such as microphones, video recorders, and projectors.
Provide first-level troubleshooting for end-user and AV devices in conference rooms.
Install and maintain audio visual equipment, including display devices, projectors, televisions, camera systems, video teleconferencing systems, microphones, and speakers.
Provide hands-and-eyes support for AV devices, including deployment, racking, stacking, patching, and cabling.
Perform inventory management of equipment, wiring, and accessories to avoid shortages.
Perform racking, stacking, rebooting, and cabling based on instructions from higher-level support teams.
Provide equipment support services to meet client expectations.
Perform equipment additions, removals, repairs, replacements, and inspections.
Prioritize and complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Provide technical assistance to other technicians when required.
Track and resolve incidents and service requests related to break-fix support.
Respond to end-user requests for ticket updates and follow up promptly as needed.
Perform hardware inventory management of stockroom assets and update equipment status in asset management systems.
Coordinate and manage replacement of faulty parts under OEM support.
Participate in incident and problem resolution activities.
Maintain adequate spare parts inventory at all times.
Assign work orders to the appropriate support team when spare parts arrive on site.
Provide live webcast support for large forums and meetings as required.
Perform routine maintenance, such as restarting AV devices, changing projector bulbs, and replacing worn-out AV cables and related accessories.
Organize and tidy AV cabinets, table equipment, and video conferencing units.
Perform software upgrades and testing with support from AV teams.
Create and maintain AV-related end-user documentation.
Create training documents and instruction manuals for AV technologies.
Provide quick training to end users on AV technologies such as video conferencing devices and collaboration tools.
Should Have:

Experience supporting video conferencing, webcast, and collaboration technologies preferred.
Experience working with OEM support processes preferred.
Experience with software upgrades and testing for AV systems preferred.
Ability to support high-visibility meetings and events preferred.
