Position Overview
MolBio seeks an experienced Web Developer to manage existing departmental web applications and, following the transition, to guide the technical direction of our technology stack. The role requires advanced capabilities in modern application architecture, security, and deployment to ensure continuity of critical departmental systems.

Essential Functions

Design and implement web applications that meet the business needs of the department.

Work with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for web applications.

Collaborate with IT professionals to develop web application architectures that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.

Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of web application architectures, designs, and code.

Provide technical guidance and leadership to other developers on the team.

Develop and implement web application development standards and best practices.

Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in web application development and recommend improvements.

Collaborate with IT to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to web applications.

Qualifications

3-5 years of full‑stack web development experience.

Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte.

Experience building and working with relational databases.

Experience with modern content management systems and custom CMS integration.

Familiarity with version control, code reviews, monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and automated deployment practices.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills; ability to discuss complex topics with both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Ability to lead projects, manage stakeholders, and meet deadlines.

Self‑motivated with excellent time‑management and attention to detail.
