Job Summary
Lecturer of Digital Animation, a full‑time, non‑tenure track faculty position in the School of Art and Design, with a preferred start date of August 2026. This nine‑month, contracted role will be based in Georgia.
Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate courses in the BFA in Digital Animation program.
Service on departmental committees as assigned or elected.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Animation or a closely related discipline, at the time of hire.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suites and software related to 2D and/or 3D Digital Animation.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry experience and a record of professional achievement in visual arts.
Online teaching experience.
Familiarity with industry software such as Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Harmony, Toon‑Boom and Storyboard Pro.
Experience in 2D and/or 3D animation production, interactivity, design, and technology.
Expertise in a secondary area of specialization such as motion graphics, illustration, or sequential art.
