Director, Marketing Technology Products
The Director, Marketing Technology Products leads the strategic management, implementation, and optimization of the USO's marketing technology stack to enhance operational efficiency across all marketing and communications channels.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage a comprehensive roadmap for the USO's marketing technology products in partnership with users and IT/Digital Transformation.
Lead the evaluation, selection, implementation, and maintenance of marketing technology platforms and tools, including CMS, digital engagement, social media management, data analytics, advertising, SEO, and marketing automation.
Lead website redesign and consolidation projects.
Oversee collection, integration, and analysis of marketing data for actionable insights, ensuring data integrity and security.
Optimize marketing operations by automating workflows and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage vendor relationships and oversee the budget for all marketing technology products and services.
Stay current with emerging marketing technologies and trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and providing training and support to staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in marketing technology, product management, or IT leadership, including 5+ years in a supervisory capacity.
Demonstrated experience managing and implementing a marketing technology stack, including CMS, ESP and marketing automation tools.
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Experience with common CMS platforms such as WordPress and Drupal.
Strong working knowledge of digital strategy, data analytics, and project management.
Strong interpersonal, customer service, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong initiative, self‑motivation, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and work non‑standard hours as needed.
Ability to obtain and maintain required credentials for access to USO facilities.
Strong advocate of the USO’s mission.
