We are seeking a Marketing and PR Officer to join our Marketing and Communications team. This role will support the planning and delivery of marketing, PR & advocacy activity to help achieve organisational objectives.

Starting salary: £31,292 per annum (pro rata £18,775)

Line manager: Marketing and Communications Manager

Team: Marketing and Communications

Contract: Part time, 21 hours per week, flexible Monday to Friday

Maternity cover for 12 months

Location: Hybrid / Edinburgh

Responsibilities

Support planning and delivery of marketing, PR, and advocacy activity across programmes.

Deliver communications across Museum Futures and Delivering Change programmes and other MGS projects.

Engage with media and tailor content for diverse audiences across multiple channels.

Maintain high communication and organisational standards, paying attention to detail.

Qualifications

At least two years’ experience in a fast‑paced communications role.

Strong communication, organisational and multitasking skills.

Enthusiastic, proactive and able to demonstrate initiative.
